Plastic in Barttlet Cove

Hi, we're back! We found 4 pieces of plastic in Barttlet Cove on Thursday, Oct.28, 2010. The pieces of plastic that we fond were a large piece of sheet plastic, a kit kat wraper, a ziploc bag, and a blue plug.

Our Field Report

On October 28, 2010, our class went to Bartlett Cove. We saw blennies under rocks, 21 jellyfish, sea urchins, mussels, sculpins, and a sea otter. We went with Steve along the beach. Steve taught us how different animals stick to different rocks. Steve said that sea stars have suction cups. That is how sea stars stick to rocks. Then Steve said mussels have threads to stick to rocks.

Thank you Steve
