Field Report 11/11/10

Hello from the 3rd-5th Grade Class,

We went to the beach by the Gustavus dock on November 11, 2010. We found a lot of interesting things. The most popular thing was dead jelly-fish. We found about 20. Do you know why there are so many dead jelly fish lately?

We found 13 pieces of plastic such as: ear plugs, foam, a fire work top, yellow tape and more. We also found some metal, and paper.

We found a couple sea stars. One was eating a barnacle. We saw it crushing the barnacle it with its tubed feet.

One of the best parts was we found an orange mussel was on one of the pilings. That was really beautiful.

Thank you for looking at out blog. See you later!
