Field Report From March 10, 2011

On March 10, 2011, we went to Bartlett Cove. We saw ducks and a type of crab, and we are not sure what it is called. We will post a picture, so maybe you will know what it is called. We only found four pieces of plastic. We also got really cold. It was 29.1۫ Fahrenheit but the wind chill was 0۫ Fahrenheit. COLD!!!. Everyone rushed to the cars because they were so FREEZING! Looking For Shells

Gustavus Dock 3-4-11

Hello from the 3^rd- 5^th grade class. On March 4^th we went to the Gustavus Dock. Did you know that it was our 11^th trip and we only have four more field trips left? It was a beautiful day. There was a low tide although it was coming in. We only found two pieces of plastic! We didn’t find as many living things but did see a great blue heron. We can’t wait to write more.
