Bartlett River: Data

On 11/11/09 we went to Bartlett River to collect data. Our data collection went well. It’s surprising that the air Temp was the same as the water Temp. They were both 5`c. We need to discuss if we should measure the depth of the water at all sites. In the middle of the trail we saw a tree marked by a bear!

    How did the bear mark the tree? Claws? How far up the tree did you see the marks? Do you have a picture you could post?

    The bear scraped it with it's claws. It scraped about six feet high. No we don't have a picture. We have pictureds of other cool things. If you have another comment or question just send it to us and we will try to help as much as we can. From: the 3-5 grade class
