On January 20, 2010 our class took a trip to Glen’s Ditch. We hadn’t caught any organisms since December 2, 2009 so it was a surprise when we caught FOUR caddisflies! Everybody was so excited!
When we got to Glen’s Ditch it was surprisingly not raining! We found some snail shells. The temperature was 36.5 degrees. The dissolved oxygen was really low and it was only 1 ppm (parts per million). Thanks to the nets that Hank gave us we got four cadddisflies. We have been to glens ditch about eight times. We just had a lot of fun going there.
