Salmon River Field Report
On February 23, 2010, we went to the Salmon River. This is what we caught: a lot of amphipods, one caddisfly, one sculpin, and one sole. It was really cold when we got there. The Salmon River is much different than Glen’s Ditch, and all the other places we have been to. At the Salmon River we caught more things then the other places. The water was 35 degrees Fahrenheit which is colder than Glen’s Ditch. There was also a lot of clay in the banks of the Salmon River. The bottom was sandy and rocky. Glen’s Ditch is muddy and mucky. There are no rocks in Glen’s Ditch where we collect data.
