Question #1
Which beach and intertidal zone has more plastic—the Gustavus Dock beach and intertidal zone or the Bartlett Cove beach and intertidal zone?
Hypothesis #1
We think that the beach by the Gustavus dock will have more plastic because it is not a National Park. A National Park is protected. There are lots more fishermen that go there so there is a bigger chance that garbage will be there. The ferry is coming once a month to Gustavus now and brings more people which means there might be more plastic.

Question #2
Which beach and intertidal zone has more sound—the Gustavus Dock beach and intertidal zone or the Bartlett Cove beach and intertidal zones? Different sounds?

Hypothesis #2
We think that the Gustavus Dock beach will have more man-made sounds than Bartlett Cove because the ferry is now coming every month and that means there are more people and cars.

Question #3
Are there more living things on the beach and intertidal zones in Gustavus or Bartlett Cove?
Hypothesis #3
We think that Bartlett Cove has more living things on the beach and intertidal zone because it has rocks for protection, and food like plants and animals.
