We went on an overnight boat trip to Muir Inlet on the Sea Wolf! On our trip we passed the Marble Islands. When we passed we smelled the stench of the Sea Lion haul out.
At Hunter’s Cove we kayaked in the setting sun. My favorite things were the silence of the kayak as the sun was setting.
The class saw wolverine tracks on Riggs Glacier. After we landed on the first beach we walked next to Riggs glacier and touched it. We had a lunch date with the Glacier!
Marylin, a wildlife artist, taught us how to use clay boards. Clay boards are small 4x4 boards with a thin layer of clay on the top. We used it to make things that we saw on the trip.
I kind of wish there more boys. But the dock came into view and we new the end of are trip was coming to an end. It was so sad to go.
